Michael Fausti’s
Exit
now streaming on UK Amazon
by Ellis Reed
Because smaller productions sometimes fly under the radar, I watch Amazon’s new releases like a hawk – with a filter for horror, obviously! – and am pleased to note the sudden appearance of Exit (2020) by Michael Fausti.
It’s a film that David Dent aka Dark Eyes of London described as ‘a precocious and important calling card from a director to watch,’ and fans of arthouse horror can now rent it for a very reasonable £2.49. As usual, if you plan to get it in HD, you’ll be adding a quid to the price.
The IMDb plot summary is as follows:
‘Events take a sinister turn one night in London, when two very different couples arrive at a double-booked apartment. Actions have consequences and not all debts are paid for with money. Leaving, it’s harder than you think.’
Watch the trailer below. Or – since it’s cheaper than a Big Mac – just run over to Amazon and dive right in.
