James Crow’s
The Curse of the Witching Tree
coming to Netflix UK
by Ellis Reed
According to the film’s official Twitter account, The Curse of the Witching Tree (UK, James Crow, 2015) will be available to watch on Netflix UK from next month.
The Curse of the Witching Tree was the feature-length debut of writer-director James Crow, earning him a thumbs-up from the venerable Starburst Magazine. The IMDb plot summary is as follows:
‘An innocent woman, hanged as a witch for allegedly murdering her son, curses the tree from which she is hung and all the children who play around it.’
This has been on my watchlist for ages, and when it appears on Netflix I’ll have no excuse not to see it. Check it out when it lands next month, and in the meantime, watch the trailer below.
