Uncanny
returning to BBC Sounds this summer
by Ellis Reed
Many of our readers will be fans of podcaster and playwright Danny Robins, who brought us The Battersea Poltergeist and 2:22. BBC Sounds recently tweeted that his podcast Uncanny will be returning for a summer special, at 6 p.m. on 06/06/2022 (argh!).
According to the tweet:
What happens when the family trip of a lifetime becomes the holiday from hell?
Uncanny is back for a summer special
@danny_robins
returns at 6pm on the 6th of June.
Robins provided more details via a four minute reveal, including an audio trailer of the upcoming special. The show will feature a brand new case, based around a terrifying holiday at an isolated property in Newfoundland. Have a listen to the trailer and stream the whole thing next week.
