Produced for Netflix by Nexus Studios in London, The House is a three-part stop motion anthology, featuring a trio of creepy stories about the same house.

It’s highly likely to appeal to horror fans; Slash Film describe it as ‘utterly enchanting, frequently disturbing… like a series of stories trapped in some dusty picture book tucked away on a shelf in a haunted mansion, waiting to be pulled down and read by a crackling fire… creepy, strange, and, in the end, altogether lovely.’

The House is written by London-based Irish playwright Enda Walsh and boasts an impressive cast of British actors, including Helena Bonham Carter, Mark Heap, Miranda Richardson, and (slightly more surprisingly!) Jarvis Cocker and Dizzee Rascal. The individual stories are directed by Emma de Swaef and Marc James Roels, Niki Lindroth von Bahr, and Paloma Baeza.
